New Fee Charged from Producers of Electricity in Latvia – Capacity Reservation Charge

From the year 2023, a fee shall be charged from producers of electricity for reservation of the system’s capacity/standby which has been approved by the Latvian Public Utilities Commission (PUC) under a decision passed on the 12th of January. Official electronic address – mandatory for all legal entities in Latvia from 1 January 2023

Already as of 1 January 2023, all legal entities – private and public limited liability companies, associations, foundations and other legal entities registered in the registers in Latvia – are obliged to register and use an official e-address or digital mailbox.
